The Chalet Tearooms and Restaurant, Portinscale
The Chalet is 1 minute walk away from Skiddaw Croft and is one of our favourite places to have a snack or lunch time meal. They offer very tasty and varied meals as well as a selection of cakes that are gluten free.
The Pheasant Inn, Keswick
We have not had a bad meal in this pub. The food choices are excellent and they have a good selection of gluten free choices. If you are not sure which items to choose, ask the staff, who are friendly and helpful. The Pheasant Inn is about a 30 minute walk from Skiddaw Croft or 5 minutes away in the car with free on road parking.
Casa Bella, Keswick
This Italian Restaurant offers a good selection of gluten free foods, including pizzas with gluten free bases, gluten free garlic bread, gluten free pasta dishes and a variety of pasta sauces that have no gluten. They have recently updated their menus to show the gluten free options.
Fellpack Cafe & Restaurant, Keswick
The Fellpack is in Lake Road, Keswick. The place is different to other cafes and restaurants and offers varied dishes. Definitely worth a visit.
